Safeguarding – Children

This one-on-one, tutor-led, interactive e-learning course is aimed at anyone who has a duty of care for children, or comes into contact with children in any type of working role, including as a paid professional or as a volunteer.

Safeguarding is a term that describes the work and processes undertaken to minimise and manage the risks involved in working with children. You and the organisation you work for must take appropriate measures for the protection of children in your care and during this training you will hear many facts, figures and details surrounding the risk to children, the types of abuse suffered, how to recognise the signs of abuse and key safeguarding legislations put in place to minimise the abuse of children.

Once you receive your log-in details, you can complete the course at any time to suit you. Each time you log in, you’ll be able to see the progress you have made and our e-learning portal will remember where you left off last time – so you can continue your training quickly and easily. You can also go over the learning content as often as required so you get the optimum learning experience that will be retained and applied to your work, to keep you and your business safe and compliant.

Our presenter Sian will guide you through all the knowledge and understanding you need in a series of videos followed by some multiple choice questions. You’ll have three attempts to complete each module before you’ll need to call us.
