STCW Basic Safety Training Courses
Anyone who is interested in working on a seagoing vessel must complete an STCW Basic Safety Training Course. Covering a range of modules such as Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting and Elementary First Aid, the STCW maritime training course provides trainees with a basic understanding of handling emergencies and staying safe at sea.
STCW Advanced Safety Training Courses
For anyone looking to enhance their career within the deck or engine department of superyachts, or skippering smaller vessels, these MCA-Approved courses are ideal and are recognised by Captains and yacht crew management companies. They also serve as the first-level qualification for the MCA Engineer Officer of the Watch CoC commercial yacht pathway.
STCW Training Update Courses
Newly introduced regulations require updated refresher proficiency training for certain STCW courses every five years. Those Seafarers revalidating their UK Certificate of Competency after 1st January 2017 must submit documentary evidence of having completed MCA approved proficiency maritime training within the last five years.

Our MCA Approved Engine 1 course develops your basic understanding from the RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance whilst the MCA Approved Certificate 2 course takes this further, providing practical hands on training alongside theoretical learning. Led by our skilled marine engineers, both courses offer real-life experience, enabling you to competently work as an engineer on board a range of vessels or back here on terra firma.
Superyacht Crewing Programmes
All of our Superyacht Crewing Programmes provide the flexibility of having 12 months to complete your training courses from the date of purchase. Workplace First Aid Courses
When it comes to workplace training, first aid is often top of the list. Ever-popular, our workplace first aid training courses include First Aid at Work (FAW) and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW). Both courses have been designed to meet the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations Act of 1981 and can easily be tailored to suit your specific requirements. In addition, we can deliver training at our well-equipped training centre or at your premises.
