First Aid training often tops the listn when it comes to workplace training, requirements. Teaching essential skills, our workplace first aid training courses include First Aid at Work (FAW) and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
Both of our workplace First Aid courses meet the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations Act of 1981 and can easily be tailored to suit specific requirements. In addition, we can deliver training at our well-equipped training centre here in Falmouth or at your premises.

Emergency First Aid at Work (Qualsafe – EFAW Level 3)
1 dayClassroomOur Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) will equip your first aider with the vital skills and knowledge they need to confidently undertake emergency first aid if someone becomes ill or injured at work. Fully approved by Qualsafe, this course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive for first aiders working in low risk environments (e.g. offices, shops, residential care settings etc.) and places a firm emphasis on the practical application of first aid skills, ensuring all our students feel able to deliver emergency first aid, should the worst happen.View course -
First Aid at Work Level 3 (FAW)
3 daysClassroomOur First Aid at Work Level 3 course (FAW) will provider first aiders with the skills and knowledge they need to confidently undertake emergency first aid shoujld someone become ill or injured in the at work. Suitable for those working in medium or high risk environments, this course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive for first aiders working in such environments and deals with how to provide effective care for a wide range of common workplace injuries.View course -
First Aid at Work Level 3 Requalification
2 daysClassroomView courseThe HSE recommend annual refresher training for all first-aiders and this 2-day course will enable the first-aider to requalify upon successful completion. -
Automated External Defibrillator
1 dayClassroomHSE legislation recommends that if any employer provides an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) then staff should receive training in how to correctly use it. Our AED course provides intensive hands on experience and training, teaching how to safely and effectively use of any portable defibrillator, ensuring your staff are comptent to deploy the AED, should the need ever arise.View course -

Emergency First Aid for Schools
ClassroomView courseThis specially designed programme has been adapted from the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course to meet the needs of people who work within a school setting. The syllabus includes all of the content from the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course and includes additional subjects likely to be faced by first aiders working within a school. -
Activity First Aid (Qualsafe – Level 2)
2 daysLeading groups of people in remote areas, or participating in any outdoor activities can bring with it unknown hazards. Common injuries sustained in the outdoors range from simple cuts and grazes to broken limbs, head and back injuries and hypothermia. Being prepared to deal with any emergency should always form part of your emergency plan and you should be prepared to deal effectively with first aid related incidents when working in this environment.View course -
Paediatric First Aid (Qualsafe – Level 3)
2 daysClassroomView courseThis course is designed for people who are working, or intend to work in the childcare sector. The programme has been designed to meet with the requirements of OFSTED for Early Years First Aid Provision. Additionally the programme meets with the recommendations of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 issued by the Health & Safety Executive for the ‘Appointed Person’. -

STCW Elementary First Aid (EFA)
1 dayClassroomPart of the minimum basic safety training for seafarers, the STCW Elementary First Aid course (EFA) teaches students how to correctly and safely respond to medical emergencies and accidents on board a vessel. Run over one-day, the course teaches a range of basic first aid and life-saving skills in both theoretical and practical hands-on sessions. With assessments carried out during the day, this course meets the minimum requirement for familiarisation and basic safety training for seafarers who, on completion, will receive a certifcation which is valid for 5 years.View course
